I came across a simple and useful tool online while reading David Pogue’s Blog. Mr Pogue writes for the New York times and I have enjoyed his Cicuits column for sometime now.  A recent post dealt with some iPhone features but included a comment from a user with a great and useful link.

Verizon provides a page that lets you search phone numbers (up to three at a time) to see if they are Verizon Wireless numbers.  This is useful in determining who among your friends and family are within your network.  This has significance depending on your phone minute & messaging plans.  See for yourself at:

I have been considering updating the look of the ACE Computer Services Blog for a while now and finally had some time this weekend to do so.  Along with the new look comes a new focus, including more articles & entries.  I am a statistics person by nature and my webhosting stats show some great traffic coming to this site.  I wish the same could be said for my business, ACE Computer Services, but my hope is that visitors who follow, read or view this site may follow in the future.

Originally I started my business and created this Blog as an offshoot of the business.  The intent was to write some articles here and there about technology trends or things I was seeing based on customer needs.  The idea of having some more links back to my main business page to help boost my Google & Yahoo rankings didn’t hurt either.  Along the way I have seen great value in writing more than I originally intended.  Clearly there are people visiting the page.  I hope the information is useful and informative.  Thank you all for visiting.

I plan, as time allows, to offer more through this Blog - new product reviews, trends and useful websites to name a few examples.  I will look to write about things that make using a computer more useful, easier, and more convenient.  As always the articles will be short, to-the-point and at a level that every user should be able to understand.  Education and accessibility of information is key and I always strive to provide quality service in that regard in my business as well.
